Organising team

The 4th Queer(y)ing Asylum Conference is hosted by the Complutense University of Madrid, with support from José Ignacio Pichardo (Professor and Director, Research Group Antropología, Diversidad y Convivencia), Herdene Vital, and Cristian Sotelo, alongside Martin Butta (CEAR).

The Conference is co-organised by Dr Diego García Rodríguez and Dr Calogero Giametta (University of Leicester), Dr Rieke Schröder (University of Münster), Dr Sophia Zisakou (Lund University), and Dmitri Hui Ken Chong (University of Westminster).

Abstract review process

 

Abstracts will be reviewed by the organising team and will also include reviewers with lived experience of asylum, who will be compensated for their time.
